Performing Arts is an exciting new addition to our specialist program at Dillbadin Primary School, and we’re thrilled to see our students exploring their creativity in fun and engaging ways.
All students take part in a one-hour Performing Arts lesson each week, where they build skills in drama, music, movement, and performance. Through activities like role-play, singing, storytelling, rhythm, and improvisation, students learn to express themselves, build confidence, and work collaboratively.
We are proud to offer a dedicated Performing Arts space, equipped with a stage, lighting system, and a range of musical instruments—creating an authentic and inspiring environment for students to learn and perform.
In addition to weekly classes, students can choose to join our voluntary Performing Arts Club, where they extend their skills, work towards performances, and enjoy being part of a vibrant creative community.
Performing Arts isn't just fun—it also supports learning across the curriculum by developing:
Communication and language skills
Listening and memory
Creative thinking and problem-solving
Empathy and emotional intelligence
Teamwork and collaboration
At Dillbadin, we believe the arts are essential. Performing Arts helps students find their voice, build resilience and self-belief, and develop skills that will support them in all areas of learning—and life.
