At Dillbadin Primary School, the safety and wellbeing of our students is our highest priority. One of the important ways we protect children is by ensuring that all adults who work or volunteer in our school have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
The WWCC is a Victorian Government requirement that helps keep children safe by screening people who want to work or volunteer with children. It helps identify individuals who may pose a risk and prevents them from working in child-related environments.
Anyone who volunteers or works at our school must hold a valid WWCC. This includes helping in classrooms, attending excursions, coaching sporting teams, or assisting at events.
If you’d like to volunteer at Dillbadin Primary School and don’t yet have a WWCC, it’s easy (and free for volunteers) to apply:
Visit the Working with Children Check website
Nominate Dillbadin Primary School as your place of volunteering so we receive a copy of your check directly
Once approved, please bring your card to the school office so we can keep a copy for our records
A WWCC is a small step that makes a big difference—thank you for helping us keep our school community safe.
