At Dillbadin Primary School, we believe that developing strong digital skills is essential for students to thrive in today’s world. That’s why we focus on the explicit teaching of digital technologies, helping students become confident, responsible and creative users of ICT.
Technology is embedded across all learning areas and is supported by access to a wide range of devices including iPads, netbooks, and access to our fully equipped ICT lab, ensuring every student can build their skills through hands-on experience.
Teachers make purposeful use of digital learning tools such as Reading Eggs and Mathletics to complement classroom instruction and provide students with engaging, interactive ways to reinforce core literacy and numeracy skills.
We are committed to maintaining up-to-date technology, with annual school budgets allocated to upgrading hardware, software, and digital resources. iPads and netbooks are also used in classrooms for small group and individual learning, supporting differentiation and allowing students to work independently at their own pace.
At Dillbadin, we see technology not just as a tool but as an important part of how students learn, create, problem-solve, and connect—both now and in the future.
